Oneclick Diseño y Software, S. L. has successfully fulfilled the main project in Spain devoted to Serious Games in education. It was a pilot project guided and financed by Spanish Ministry of Industry, via its public company Red.es whose final receptor was Spanish Ministry of Education, via the Instituto de Tecnología Educativa (ITE), which provided with its validation and is now in charge of the distribution and use of the products created.
Main aim of the project was to create a technology and pedagogical standard for serious games in education and testing it by creating a certain amount of titles. Serious games created were for the vocational training area (Formación Profesional – FP), since these studies are specially interested on serious games because of its practical approach to the subject: vocational training not only has to do with theory but also (and in a more important way) with practice.
